ESPFlight Hardware Reference designs are licensed under CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2 — Permissive (CERN-OHL-P-2.0), supporting study, modification, building, distribution, and independent products subject to the license terms.

The open hardware license does not license the ESPFlight name or logo. Independent products should use their own branding.

The ESPFlight Hardware Reference may be studied, modified, built, distributed, and used as the foundation for independent projects and products subject to CERN-OHL-P-2.0.

The ESPFlight name, logo, visual identity, and other brand assets are not included in the open hardware license.

Independent products based on ESPFlight should use their own names and branding and must not imply official endorsement or status.
