Use the platform responsibly.
These website terms sit alongside the separate licenses that govern ESPFlight firmware, hardware, documentation, Application, and brand assets.
Component licenses control their components
The website summary does not replace the license files distributed with ESPFlight components. Firmware is governed by its MIT License, Hardware Reference by CERN-OHL-P-2.0, Documentation by CC BY 4.0 where stated, and the ESPFlight Application by its proprietary terms. Brand rights are separate.
Safety responsibility
ESPFlight can control real motors and flying hardware. You are responsible for your build, configuration, local operating environment, legal compliance, and safe validation. Follow propeller-off bench testing and the published safety guidance before flight.
No automatic endorsement
Using open ESPFlight technology does not make an independent board, kit, product, website, or service official, certified, partnered, or endorsed by ESPFlight. Follow the Brand Policy when describing compatibility.
Downloads and external links
Use the official ESPFlight website and GitHub organization for release artifacts when possible. Verify checksums where published. External services linked from the site operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and changes
Documentation, services, links, and compatibility information may be corrected or updated. Versioned release artifacts and their included license files remain the reference for that release.
Open-component warranty terms
Open components are provided subject to the warranty and liability terms contained in their respective licenses. Nothing on this website adds a warranty that is not stated in the controlling license or applicable law.
